  1. Maybe you just need to make that little mug rug just for you, and that might kick through the quilter’s block? And maybe there’s something that just hasn’t settled in right yet for that project, but it will come to you soon and then the block will disappear? Hope you get your mojo back soon!

I agree with you, maybe you should make a smaller version of your secret project. That way since it’s unfamiliar, it won’t take as long. I really like your “orange slices” mug rug! That would be cute in a bigger size also. Very nice quilt as well!!

Thanks for stopping by. 🙂 I am already trying to figure out a smaller size for the secret quilting… doing a 74×84 quilt for a sample is a little ambitious.

  4. Hi Sherry, i love the orang slice rug, so juicy! And congrats on you your Chic Country quilt finish, it is truly stunning.
Sometimes when I get tense about a project, I will avoid it. Finding a way to change my perspective about it helps; hope my two cents help you.

  5. Start a sample. Maybe just cutting will help you get “over it”. If it is freeform do it your own way!
