Flying Windmills Quilt Pattern!

I am so excited to share my newest pattern with you today!  Introducing Flying Windmills!

Flying Windmills is an intermediate skill level pattern that is fat quarter friendly.  The sample quilt is Sugar Pie Fabric by Lella Boutique.  I used 18 different prints on the quilt.  The greens were paired with a contrasting pink, yellow, or orange.   This gives a gradient across the quilt while showcasing each of the different prints.

When I was creating the top, I paired the colors together and photographed just the center windmills together to check for color placement.

Then after the block were sewn together, I used my design wall to check the overall top.

The pattern has instructions for baby, throw, twin, and queen sizes.  The sample is a throw sized quilt, which is my go-to size.  I also tend to love making square quilts, but if you aren’t a fan, the twin size is rectangular.

The quilt is quilted by Rhonda Walker of Olie&Evie.  My favorite part of this pattern is how the dual color gives a prominent windmill look in the center of each block.

One of my testers, Joanne Harris completed a quilt top for a baby sized quilt.  She used solid colors for the main 2 colors and printed fabric for the background.  I LOVE how her top came out!

Grab a copy of the pattern from my Etsy or my Pattern Shop today!!!  I hope you love this quilt as much as I do!
