It's the first day of November, so it's a new color for the Monthly Color Challenge! This month's color is BLUE-GREEN! If you want more details on the challenge, read about it here.
Jen from Patterns by Jen designed a block that can be made in 6" and 12" finished. I opted to make all the blocks 12" to match the blocks I designed. You can get Jen's block pattern from her blog here.
The goal of the challenge is to have an entire block or project made from that month's color.
I am designing a sample block each month for this challenge. My block this month uses 3 different shades of blue-green! This block includes 4-patches and 9-patches. It's a fun mix all in one block! At the end of the year, I'll give setting instructions for a 12 block and a 24 block quilt.
Remember to be entered in the giveaway this month, you will need to post your block or project on Jen's blog during the last week of the month. No need to worry, I'll be posting a reminder to link up closer to that time. The winner this month will receive a fat quarter bundle of organic fabrics from the Haiku 2 line by Monaluna!
Don't forget to visit the other bloggers who are participating in this challenge to check out their projects and blocks! I can't wait to see what they are up to as well!
