Holiday No-Sew Ornaments

It's that time of year again when I think I should do an appreciation gift for my team at work.  Of course, I thought about this super last minute and decided that a basic star ornament was the gift that I wanted to make everyone.  You can learn how to make the Basic Star ornament by taking the Ornament Girl's Basic Star Workshop here.  This a free workshop over the course of 3 different videos.  Once you start making ornaments, you just can't stop!

So I ended up making 10 of these ornaments.  Yes, TEN in one weekend! My poor fingers hurt after the first couple and I definitely had to pull out my "pin pusher" that I purchased earlier in the year.  I should have started out using the pin pusher to save my fingers but I wasn't thinking. You can purchase a pin pusher here.  The basic star ornament took me about an hour to make once I had all the fabric cut into the correct sizes.  I have made several other ornaments with Ornament Girl and I really love the kits I get each month!  Depending on the complexity of the pattern, the ornaments normally take me anywhere from 1-2 hours to complete.  I'm definitely hooked on making ornaments, but for next year's gifts, I think I will start making the ornaments WAY earlier!

What items have you made to give to your team or for your kid's teachers?
