Happy 1st Friday of 2020! I realized I hadn't done a 2019 recap yet, so here it is!
My 2019 by the numbers:
- Quilts finished: 8 Mini (<24"), 6 Small (<40"), 17 Usable size (>40").
- There are 5 of the usable size that have not been shared yet due to publications/catalogs in 2020.
- I hope I'm not missing anything as I wasn't as good at keeping track this year at all!
- Quilt tops finished: umm... I forgot to keep track of these!
- Quilts/Works in progress: too many to count!
- Patterns released: 8 -- 7 patterns you can purchase from my shop and 1 pattern that is still only International Association of Quilters exclusive. This pattern will be releasing sometime next year!
2019 was full of changes! I started the year in Kansas City and ended it in Albuquerque! This move was somehow way more stressful than the Minneapolis to Kansas City move in 2018 and I'm not quite sure why that's the case. I definitely fell off the blogging and making bandwagon for a couple of months during the move.
My most favorite finish of this year is the butterfly quilt that I made for the November Island Batik Challenge Tool Time!
My best selling quilt pattern of 2019 was my Barn Quilt BOM! Month 5 of the sew-along was posted last Wednesday! I actually caught up on my blocks to make the full quilt on Twitch on Wednesday as well. I still need to finish making my Month 3/4 blocks for the full quilt. I will be streaming this weekend on my Twitch channel to complete the rest of those blocks!
My favorite non-quilty item was my Molly Bag by Sallie Tomato. I actually use this as my main purse these days and it's super spacious! I can't wait to make more bags in 2020!
I hope everyone had a great holiday and is off to a great start to 2020!
