Countdown to QuiltCon (Friday Foto Fun #112)

QuiltCon is less than 2 weeks away!  This year the event is in Austin, TX February 20-23.

I will be attending several classes and volunteering!  Unfortunately, I don't have a quilt in the show, but I'm looking forward to seeing all the amazing quilts this year!

Here's what I'm registered for!

I'm so excited to be taking some longarm classes now that I have one at home!  This is also the first year that I'm only taking one sewing class.  Obviously I'm taking a class with Victoria Findlay Wolfe because she's just amazing.  She's of the best quilt instructors that I've taken classes from and I will always try to take a class from her if I get the chance.  The double wedding ring class is a classic of hers and I'm stoked to be able to take it!

Let me know if you are going and want to meet up!  My sister is taking night classes Friday and Saturday, so I'm free for dinner!

I will also be spending a lot of my free time volunteering during the event.  I will be volunteering on Wednesday to help with set-up/check-in (I think), a class on Thursday, and takedown on Sunday.  I really try to be a super volunteer each year, the perks are pretty awesome!  If you have time to volunteer at the event, I highly recommend it.
