YAY! Here's the second quilt in my Simply series. Introducing Simply Cake! We made this quilt top in about 5 hours on Saturday and then I longarmed the quilt Saturday night. Sunday I put on the binding and took some glamour shots. The quilt is comprised of 40 - 10" print squares and just about 1.25 yards of background.
This quilt turned out to be 61.5"x72", perfect for snuggling under while on the couch. It's super beginner-friendly and a great precut stash buster!
I used Aria by Kate Spain for the quilt top because of its large prints that I didn't want to cut up into tiny little pieces!
Quilt Facts:
- Pattern: Simply Cake by me! (Pattern release coming soon)

- Thread: 2024 Aurifil 50wt for piecing and binding, 401 So Fine 50wt for longarm

- Finished Size: 61.5"x72"
