Happy start to a holiday weekend! I hope everyone is still staying safe. I've been rummaging through my old patterns and creating things that I've had for a long time. I decided to finally make my Mini Diva wallets. I've had the pattern and hardware for over 5 years. Better late than never!
I think they turned out pretty cute! Since I'm a small wallet person, I decided not to make the prima version. The inside has 3 card pockets and a small zipper section for coins. This was also the first time that I've used Wonder-Under with zippers. It's so much easier! I should use it more often!
The outside of the wallet has a zipper that goes the length of the wallet for cash or other items.
Overall the pattern was super easy to follow and the hardware was easy to install. You just need to make sure that you have a small enough screwdriver for the hardware. I also recommend using Fray Check for the section that you need to cut out for the latch.
My computer has been acting up lately with the blue screen of death. I was going to be streaming this Saturday for the Quilt in a Day, however, with my computer issues I am delaying the stream by one week. Just in case I need to send my laptop in for repair.
This is going to be the first month where we'll be combining a jelly roll and a half layer cake! I'll be talking through collection choices during the stream as well.
Remember that my Patrons on Patreon currently get the Simply Woven pattern as part of their subscription and will also be getting the Simply Patched pattern on May 29th!
This weekend I'll be working on other patterns in my backlog. If my computer gets fixed, I'll be streaming. Be sure to follow me on Twitch to get notifications on when I go live!
