Here's the eighth quilt in my Simply series. Introducing Simply Churned! I made this quilt top in about 4 hours last Saturday and then longarmed the quilt Saturday night. It uses a layer cake for the quilt top. Originally I was going to add a border, but I couldn't decide what I wanted to do, so I left it off. This quilt is the smallest quilt I've made and probably should have had a border to make it better suited for adult usage.
Bungalow has really soft and pastel colors in the collection, which makes this a super adorable baby quilt! If I were to do this again, I may have picked some more contrasting colors. The blocks blend a little more than I prefer, but it's still a cute little quilt.
