Sometimes there are just projects that I get so excited for that I don't wait to stream it on Twitch, but rather just go ahead and make it! This was the case for the Amara Tote!
I was so excited that the Amara Tote could use up my 12" wide vinyl rolls I had gotten. Previously I thought I was going to need 18" wide rolls to do most of the bags I wanted to make, so knowing that 12" rolls worked for this pattern was really exciting! The tote bag has a gusset pocket on the front, a recessed zipper, and the interior has slip pockets and an interior zipper.
I was so pleased with how the Tote came out that I decided to make the Handbag version as well! The handbag gives you connectors for a crossbody strap and it is smaller than the Tote. I actually used my sewing machine to show scale!
The kicker is that the Tote bag in my opinion is way bigger than Handbag as you can see from this side-by-side profile photo.
