Happy Friday! This is the third time that I've moved since I started my blog and I seem to always misjudge exactly how much time moving takes. I haven't been doing anything sewing-related this week, just a whole bunch of cleaning and house prep to get it on the market. I did forget that I haven't shared a sneak peek of a new pattern that I started on stream a few weeks ago.
This is the quilt top swirl of Checkerboard Plus, a new pattern that will be released later this year. I sewed part of the quilt top on stream in September but didn't get the whole top finished until later in the month (off stream). The quilt uses a fabulous new collection from Cora Quilts called Gathering!
I really can't wait to share the full quilt top with you because I really love this top. It showcases small and large scale prints so it's super versatile.
As for good vibes, our house was put on the market yesterday! Fingers crossed it sells quickly. I am still planning on streaming live on Twitch this Saturday, but if there is a showing request or showings planned, I will be cutting stream to depart my home! The current plan is to sew the 9th and last block in the North Stars quilt. I can't believe I'm almost done with the blocks! This quilt was one that I got the fabric way back in 2018 and never actually started the quilt until this year!
