Gunther Hobo Bag!

I'm headed off to Disney in just over a week and I realized I never did a recap on the Gunther Hobo Bag that I sewed on stream for a special Bag Day last month!

I used the Happiest Snacks fabric from Purple Dragon Fabrics sewing box.  The bag itself is such a great size.  I changed up the straps to use the edge strap connectors, but I definitely need to add things to the bag to have the proper drop off the shoulder.

The Aurifil forty3 stitches beautifully and is just so strong for a purse!  I used Chicago screws for the first time on this bag too since I don't have my rivet press with me.  The custom dole whip zipper pull is just SO cute (click on the photo to enlarge).

The front of the bag has two smaller zipper pockets, the back of the bag has a small slip pocket and the zipped interior has a zipper pocket.  The purse is a great size for all the things I plan on bringing to Disney!  Side note: the zipper is much too long because I forgot to pack a zipper end.  I plan on cutting the zipper down and attaching a zipper end when I'm in the new house!

My thoughts on the bag and pattern:
