WE MADE IT!!! We close on our house later today and I am so incredibly excited! It's been a little over 160 days since we left New Mexico and have been living in this transient state. I can't wait to get all of my things back from the movers and get my rooms set up! Too bad that's not happening until Monday. This weekend, I'll be setting up what I can in my new sewing spaces.
This is my new sewing space! It's the "bonus room" in my house right at the top of the stairs, but I have doors to keep my mess inside. I'm getting a large Ikea bookshelf tomorrow to set up prior to the movers so I actually have proper storage of my stash and hardware.
This is my longarm room! I didn't have a large enough space to have both my sewing space and my longarm in the same area, so I have a separate semi-adjacent area for my longarm! Jeremy (Angela's husband and Handiquilter tech) is coming in a few weeks to get my machine set back up and then I'll be back in business for catching up on all the quilts that I've made the last few months as well as beginning to accept customer quilts, yay!
No stream tomorrow as we won't have internet yet at the house, but I'll be back on May 7th! I can't wait to sew with everyone again!
