Unpacking is exhausting (Friday Foto Fun #128)

It's been one heck of a week!  We got the awesome Ikea bookshelf last Saturday and it took us all day to put it together.  It looks really nice and all 3 of them screw together.  I'm really pleased with how this bookshelf turned out!  It's the Liatorp bookshelf (3) with one set of doors.

Then it went downhill.  Sunday, we decided to put together some Ikea dressers and those were not as nice.  One was broken so we are waiting on a replacement part since we live ~40 minutes away from the Ikea.  The second dresser looks much better in the photograph than it does up close and in real life, but it works and will serve its purpose in life.  Then comes Monday... all of our things were delivered!  So many boxes and just STUFF.  I think I'm missing 2 of my high bar longarm lights too as we have only found 3 of them.  There is minor damage on a lot of our big items aka desks and some minor house flooring damage. I spent the following days with my mom (who flew in to help us) unpacking. I think I've done a decent job in my sewing room, but I don't think the bookshelf is large enough for everything.  I'm trying to keep it mainly free for my fabric stash.

The sewing tables are to the right, but not in the correct spaces just yet.  All of the totes are currently in the cubbies but not in the "correct" locations.  I'll deal with putting everything in the correct locations after everything is out of the boxes. On the other side of the bathroom is my longarm room, so the rooms are somewhat connected.

I will plan on streaming tomorrow on Twitch at 9 am!  But no sewing this time, I'm nowhere near ready.  We'll be chatting and going through the rest of the boxes and hopefully be able to get the fabric from the totes onto the bookshelves.  I plan on dividing the fabric into 2 groups: keep and destash.  So come join me to decide which is which!
