Serendipity Wallet!

Happy Tuesday!  I'm getting back into a routine again, which is at least one step towards getting more situated after the move.  I made this beautiful Serendipity Wallet this past weekend on my Twitch channel.  It was actually a little bit of fumbling through the pattern, but it turned out great!

The exterior is faux leather/vinyl with a vinyl and cotton woven interior.  There is space for 9 cards, an ID, cash, and a place for change in a zipper pouch in the middle.

The snap tab has a metal spring snap or fashion snap for the closure and 2 rivets on the back holding it down.

Honestly, the hardest part of the pattern was getting the edge paint to go on consistently and waiting for it to dry before adding the next coat properly.  I think this is due to the lack of practice I have in applying edge coat since this is the first piece that's needed it in over 8 months!

Overall, the pattern was pretty easy to follow and the wallet can be sewn on a domestic machine.  Tyvek for the card slots is super thin and I didn't know it was a Pellon product until I ordered it for this project.

June bag day is this Saturday, what should I make next?
