I'm looking forward to finishing up the secret sewing I've been doing lately to start on some new passion projects. I have finally decided that I want to make a Liberty of London Tana Lawn quilt.
Liberty is on my list to visit on my next trip the London, which should have been in November of 2020... but you know, the pandemic. Tana Lawn is this super soft and silky cotton fabric that is so distinct. I decided to make a plus quilt and use Liberty fat sixteenths in the quilt. Duckadilly based in Ann Arbor, Michigan is a quilt shop that sells so much Liberty fabric. They offer scrap bundles of Liberty and I ordered the largest bundle in fat sixteenths. I can't wait to get it and start working on this super fun project.
I'm hoping with working on a passion project I can reinvigorate my creativity again and get out of the sewing funk I've been in from the move.
What have you done to get out of a sewing funk?
