Mini Magda Wristlet!

I made the most darling little wristlet this last weekend for August's Bag Day!  After the time-consuming Voyage Handbag last month, I picked an itty bitty wristlet this month and finished it just under 2.5 hours!  This is the Mini Magda by Oro Rosa Patterns!

The circular part is approximately 5" finished and about 2" wide. I love how it turned out and this Brillant Purple faux leather makes it look so fancy!  The interior is plain with no extra frills or pockets.  The inside is finished with binding that I fudged to make my own since I didn't have any premade bias binding.

Now for the pattern review:

• It's so fast to make and only has 2 pattern pieces that you need to cut out.
  • I think there is something going on with my printer because I had to print the pattern at 105% to make the test square the correct size.  This is why you should also test the squares!
• Stapling the circle with the gusset is a game changer and made sewing the circle super easy.  However I should invest in a staple remover, that part was rough on my fingers.
• I really hate finishing binding inside a bag completely by machine.  I think it looks shoddy.  However since this is so small, no one will really notice.
• I didn't love one part of the instructions about how the lining needed to be just barely bigger than the exterior on the gusset.  I think I followed the instructions right, but my lining feels "too big" for the bag but just barely.
• Overall, this pattern goes under the "Will Make Again" list.

What would you use this wristlet for? I haven't quite figured out how to best use this wristlet.  It's so cute but almost too big to fit into my other purse and a little too small to fit all my things!
