Ava Pouch aka Sanitizer Holder

Happy New Year!!!  I hope everyone's holiday was amazing and you got some rest and relaxation.  I was super busy secret sewing all of my quilts for the next collection.  Honestly, it was exhausting but it's my fault for waiting till break to do all of them.  I took a small break Saturday and made myself an Ava Pouch by A Quaint Stitch.

There's a backstory to this as I have seen SO MANY sanitizer holders since the pandemic started, but I couldn't find the pattern! I'm not sure if I never asked or if I just didn't search correctly, but the Ava Pouch has been out for a while and it's free!  Get the pattern here from A Quaint Stitch.

The pattern comes in 2 sizes for 1oz or 2oz bottles of hand sanitizer.  It also has the option to use 3/4" or 1" hardware for the hanging swivel hook.  I decided to make a 2oz holder and use 1" hardware.

The only modifications to the pattern were as follows:

Things I would do differently:

Overall, I really like how this turned out!  I actually made a tester version to make sure that the size was correct for my sanitizer bottle.  I used leftover scrap cork to test and it was such an easy, quick project.

Here are the back and the edges of the pouch.

Have you made a sanitizer pouch before?  If so, what pattern did you use?
