Happy First Day of Fall!

Autumn is my FAVORITE season of the year!  Too bad it's almost 90 degrees today.  I've been so wiped out by my day job these last few weeks, I feel like all the quilting goals I've set for myself have been overly aggressive.  It seems like the only thing I've mentally be able to do is sew on binding.  I also apologize I'm behind on responding to comments too.  One of these days I'll finally catch up with my life.  So here are some fun finishes that I've had this week since I only sewed binding.

This quilt is a hashtag quilt made up of Vintage Modern fabric by Bonnie and Camille.  It's one of their older lines of fabric that I just adore and was lucky enough to get a cut up layer cake on Ebay a few months ago.  It took me a while to figure out what I could make with 2.5" square and 2.5"x6.5" rectangles.  This hashtag quilt was a great fit and uses a partial seam to create the block (read my partial seam tutorial here).

The one little bit of machine sewing I did all weekend was to finish the quilt top of my Tabby Road quilt.  The fabric is Tabby Road by Tula Pink.  This turned out cuter than I thought it would have.  The colors are definitely bold, but it's super fun!  Would anyone be interested in a pattern for this cute quilt?  Maybe I'll give it away free with my future newsletter sign ups.

I also started sewing the binding on my 104 sample quilt!  It's made out of Sugar Pie fabric by Lella Boutique.  I can't wait to share the quilt with everyone!  This quilt was the quilt in the binding tutorial if you'd like to catch a sneak peak of it!

Remember this awesome quilt?  This is the Modern Heritage BOM quilt I did with Serendipity Woods using Amy Ellis' Modern Heritage book (Amazon affiliate link at the bottom of the post to purchase your own copy).  I brought it along with me to the hotel this week so I can work on the binding.  I'm bringing it home today halfway finished because hand sewing the binding takes awhile. I also noticed taking the photo in a hotel room looks much nicer than my bed at home.

Hopefully I can relax this weekend and get some pattern writing done.  Pattern testers, get ready!  This one might be a quick turnaround!
