I got my baby back!!! (Friday Foto Fun #6)
Happy Friday indeed! I got to pick up my baby from the shop yesterday!! I'm so excited to be able to sew with it again! So the technician told me that he took the bottom portion apart and didn't find the needle pieces. Then he put it back together, retimed the machine and it worked. Now how do I learn to fix that myself when I inevitably do this again! I am so happy to have only paid an hour in labor to get my baby fixed.
This week's Friday share is this super cute Row by Row row from Up North Quilt Shop. You may have seen it up on my huge design wall on Tuesday's post. I can finally get the edges of the applique sewn down with a blanket stitch now!
Snowmen are my weakness in the winter (see the Snowman block I designed for the I Wish You A Merry QAL). I ordered another snowman mini wall hanging from a shop in Wisconsin, but I haven't gotten it yet. I elected to work on the snowman rather than the Fox and Friends quilt.
I have created all 80ish blocks for my PBQ106 pattern called Twisted Ladder. I can't wait to get them all sewn together and get it off to the longarm! PBQ105 is actually on its way back to me this very moment! I got to get some binding made and put the finishing touches on the pattern! YAY! Not too much longer before I get to share with the world.
Short week upcoming for me since I'm traveling for work and going home for Thanksgiving!
Available time for quilting:
Saturday, Sunday
Projects I want to work on:

Fox and Friends

- When you link up a post, please try to support the others folks in the linky party! Let's spread the motivation and support to help everyone make progress in their own time.
- Your post does not need to be something quilty you accomplished, but definitely encouraged. Sometimes life just gets in the way, but feel free to share something you are proud of this week.

Hi, Sherry. I was at Up North this summer on the 2017 Quilt MN Shop Hop. Did you go on it? The Up North shop is a nice place. I featured them on Day Nine on my blog. All of my posts about the hop are in my header tab marked Shop Hops, of course. I really like your idea to write down your goals and expectations. I know you can get them accomplished.
I actually did not go up there! Sooo far from the Twin Cities! They mailed me the row after the time period ended. I was really happy about that. I need to go back and reread your quilt shop hop and maybe this next summer go on a driving tour 😛
I post goals and expectations every week, really to keep myself accountable. Regardless if anyone else really cares what my plans are, I still need to keep tracking! Otherwise I just get distracted with other things, or I get lazy >_<
That beauty of a sewing machine will be humming now! Love your snowman row. Great job thinking through your goals.
Thanks Nancy! I’m so happy to have my machine back! My back up is fine, but it’s always a pain to relearn seam allowances on another machine. Hope you are keeping warm this weekend! It’s a cold one!
No accomplishments in the quilting world this week…getting back into it today and tomorrow I hope!
I hope you got some stuff accomplished! I got sick so now my progress is way slower! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
