Friday Fri-YAY Giveaway Day! (Friday Foto Fun #21)
I know this was a short week since I got home from QuiltCon Monday night, but it was a crazy long week! I do have a few things to share with you! Curated Quilts put out their call for entries for their next issue and it's all about triangles! I can't wait to start making a mini quilt with this beautiful color palette. Please note: this is not up yet on their website, but they passed out notecards during QuiltCon.
Speaking of QuiltCon, I finally got everything unpacked and I wanted share a photo of all my loot! I was actually really proud of myself as I did not need another suitcase and my luggage was not charged for being overweight even though it came in at 51 pounds!
But something is missing from this photo. What could it be? Hmmm… Oh right, I bought a Juki TL-2200QVP Mini!!! *Happy Dance!* I have been wanting this machine since I used it at QuiltCon 2017 in Savannah and finally bought one! I got a great show price for it. It's supposed to arrive on Monday, so here is a stock photo from Juki's website. Click on the photo to go to Juki's product page. This is a mechanical straight stitch machine with a knee lift - must have, and can be rotated so you sit at the end of the machine to free motion quilt with it. I am beyond excited!
There is a small part of me that feels like I'm cheating on my Bernina baby, but I'm squashing that down. I'm turning into a Juki Lover.
Anyway as I was unpacking, I realized that I didn't actually need both swag bags that I got. One I got for being one of the first 1000 people to register for QuiltCon and the other one I got for being a Super Volunteer! I haven't run a giveaway in a long time, so here's the deal:
- This giveaway runs until March 8, 2018 at 11:59PM Central Standard Time, pretty much until the next Friday Foto Fun post.
- This is open to US residents only. Sorry to my international friends, but I don’t want to deal with shipping internationally, customs, duty, etc.
- This giveaway is not sponsored by anyone, just me!

Hi Sherry,
I popped over from the New Quilt Boggers info, and thought I would say hello! A new Juki!!! I am envious – I have been secretly wanting one since I first tried it at the Chicago quilt show last year. I settled one an Elna because they are sold and serviced near me but that Juki still has my heart. How fabulous! ~smile~ Roseanne
