TGIFF!!! (Friday Foto Fun #22)
This week's (early) edition of Friday Foto Fun is extra special since I'm hosting Thank Goodness It's Finished Friday!!! It's already Friday in some parts of the world, lucky them! I can't wait to see everyone's finishes this week!
My finish this week is my Fox and Friends Quilt by Sew Fresh Quilts! This quilt top has been finished for SO LONG! I realized last week that it was already March, and my friend is due in March! I figured I should probably finish this quilt quickly before the baby arrived.
Isn't it such a cute quilt?! I messaged my friend to verify their address and guess what!? She had her baby the night before! Good thing I finished this quilt (and it's currently in the mail to their house)!
The quilt is quilted with straight line quilting on the diagonals. Something simple and sweet!
For those new to my blog, I end my Friday posts with what I'm working on this next week to keep my goals up front!
Available time for quilting this next week:
Sunday, maybe after work. I'm traveling, but bringing my machine!
Projects I want to work on:
PBQ107
Long Time Gone BOM
Goals for the Projects:
PBQ107: Make blocks. I brought all the fabric prepped to be sewn! Let's do this!
Long Time Gone BOM: I realized that I'm 3 months behind on this, oops! Time to play catch up.
Your turn! What did you accomplish this week? A block? A quilt top? Link up below!
A few reminders:
- When you link up a post, please try to support the others folks in the linky party! Let's spread the motivation and support to help everyone make progress in their own time.
- Your post does not need to be something quilty you accomplished, but definitely encouraged. Sometimes life just gets in the way, but feel free to share something you are proud of this week.
- In your blog post, please include a link back to my blog or grab the Friday Foto Fun Button and put it on your sidebar. This way others who visit your blog can also join in on the fun!

Quit Foxy there Lady. Ha, ha! Love your finish.
It is the cutest quilt! And your finish was perfectly timed for the new baby 😊
This is such an adorable quilt, I just love the eyes darting around! What a great finish, I hope your friend loves it!
Adorable foxes! Thanks for hosting TGIFF this week!
Congrats on fun and cute finish! Thanks for hosting 🙂
What a cute quilt! So bright and cheery!
Sew cute! Girl or boy? Your timing is great! Thanks for hosting TGIFF!
I love your foxes and racoons quilt. It is simply sweet!
I adore this pattern! Congrats to your friend and congratulations on your finish!
This is a great finish. I love Lorna’s patterns. I may need to make this one again.
Your Fox and Friends quilt is adorable! So glad your friend had her baby okay, and that the quilt is done and on its way in perfect time! Thanks for hosting TGIFF!
Great foxes. These little animal quilts she designs are wonderful.
First off, I adore that Fox and Friends quilt. It’s fabulous and I can’t believe it languished as an unquilted top for so long! But then again, I can’t believe that MY latest project has stalled out at the quilt top stage for so long, either…
I love that when you’re making your sewing goals for the upcoming week, you first look at how much time you actually have available for sewing first. That’s where I smack my forehead and tell myself, “Duh!” Setting weekly and monthly goals for my hobby sewing is a new thing I’m trying out this year and so far it’s been discouraging — I make these lists of what I want to get done, then it’s a crazy busy week and I feel like a failure at the end when I didn’t knock out all of my goals. Hmmm… Well, I’m hosting TGIFF on March 30th so that’s my UBER-IMPERATIVE goal to get that quilt top loaded on my frame and quilted ASAP! Thanks for hosting. I love to look at everyone else’s finishes even when I don’t have any of my own to share.
