Jen from Patterns by Jen designed a block that can be made in 6" and 12" finished. I opted to make all the blocks 12" to match the blocks I designed. You can get Jen's block pattern from her blog here.
The goal of the challenge is to have an entire block or project made from that month's color.
A tip to share about Jen's block: Be careful with all the bias edges. Remember to not tug on the pieces to prevent distortion!
I am designing a sample block each month for this challenge. My block this month uses 3 different shades of oranges and can be made scrappy, too! At the end of the year I'll give setting instructions for a 12 block and a 24 block quilt. There is a possibility of a 36 block quilt too!
