Jen from Patterns by Jen designed a block that can be made in 6" and 12" finished. I opted to make all the blocks 12" to match the blocks I designed. You can get Jen's block pattern from her blog here.
The goal of the challenge is to have an entire block or project made from that month's color.
I am designing a sample block each month for this challenge. My block this month uses 3 different shades of green and can be made scrappy, too! My favorite part is the awesome secondary design that this block creates! At the end of the year I'll give setting instructions for a 12 block and a 24 block quilt. There is a possibility of a 36 block quilt too!
If you use this block for an entire green quilt, here's what it would look like! Seriously, the secondary design is pretty awesome!
