June Color Challenge Revisited (Friday Foto Fun #38)
Hello from Kansas City (finally!!!) and a special edition of Friday Foto Fun!!! All my stuff will get delivered later today and I'll finally be able to get my new sewing room set up and start quilting again! This last month has been ridiculously busy and stressful, but we are almost done!
June is almost over which means you only have two more days to get your blocks in for prizes!!! I am reminding you that the June Color Challenge link up is OPEN!!! YAY!!! Make sure to head over to Patterns By Jen's blog to link up. If you missed the kickoff of the challenge, you still have time to make something PURPLE and enter! Read about the June Challenge here.
This is my 3rd purple block using Jen of Dizzy Quilter's Circle Play block this week! Like previous months, I used my quarter circle templates to make my paper piecing templates to make this wonderful block! Check out my January post that walks through the process for the circle. This month the idea was improv curves! This looked so incredibly intimidating but was not THAT bad.
I picked 4 focal prints and a purple background. I followed Dizzy Quilter's tutorial step by step and came up with this beauty!
Don't forget to download my purple block free until the end of the month as well!

Don't forget the link up is open until June 30 on Patterns by Jen's blog to win this month's prize!
The winner this month will receive a fat quarter bundle of Art Gallery Fabrics!
Don't forget to check out the other bloggers who are participating in this challenge to check out their projects and blocks! I can't wait to see what they are up to as well!

I hope all your things are delivered in the same shape as they left home. I’ve got a horrible moving story but I won’t worry you. Considering you were moving, you were able to keep up with the Fall Into a QAL and your blog posts. Amazing!!!
Hi Sherry,
I hope the move and unpacking are going well. Ugg, all the work ahead of you but it will be behind you in a blink. Remember to set up your beds first . . . and then your studio. You will be thankful at the end of the day when you can fall into bed. {{Hugs}} You do r.o.c.k moving and keeping your blog going as well! Happy Friday! ~smile~ Roseanne
Pretty purple you’ve got there!
Congratulations on your move. Hope the transition is smooth. Enjoy setting up your new home. I love the purple blocks!
Your move happened so quick! You have a wonderfully spacious studio in the new place. Best wishes!!!
Hi Sherry, all the best with your move!
