Crafty Friends are the Best! (Friday Foto Fun #53)

I spent most of this week back in Minneapolis for work.  One of my co-workers/friends gave me a present when I was back in the main office...

Here's the backstory to this cute little gift. When we were moving away from Minneapolis, I was cleaning through all of my crafting supplies.  I found huge bags of wool that I had bought to eventually needle felt with.  I bought the wool years ago, broke all my needle felting needles and stabbed myself through my nail/tip of my finger.  I didn't pick it up after that. My friend, Katia, has made some really beautiful wool felted jewelry, so I brought these huge bags to work and gave them to her!  She decided to make herself a dragon, and it looked so cool that I asked if she could make me one too!  So here it is!

It's breathing fire and has a glass vial of wheat berries around its neck!  The wheat is for a project we were working on together and the fact that I work in a flour mill now.  It's so cute!

I'm so impressed with the wings and spikes down the dragon's back!

What should I name my new dragon?

I really don't have much I can share at the moment since I'm knee deep in Quilt Market Prep! I can't wait till the end of the month to be able to share all the quilty goodness with everyone!
