November Color Challenge Revisited (Friday Foto Fun #59)

Happy Black Friday!  May your wallets thank you at the end of the day...

We are close to the end of November which means the November Color Challenge link up is OPEN to enter your block for prizes!  YAY!!! Make sure to head over to Patterns By Jen's blog to link up.  If you missed the kickoff of the challenge, you still have time to make something BLUE-GREEN and enter!  Read about the November Challenge here.

This is my 3rd blue-green block, this one using Jen of Dizzy Quilter's Circle Play block!  Like previous months, I used my quarter circle templates to make my paper piecing templates to make this wonderful block!  Check out my January post that walks through the process for the circle.  This month the idea was improv curved piecing to make a swirl or spiral... or what I consider like a peppermint swirl.

I followed Dizzy Quilter's instructions and started out with 8" squares.  It's surprising how much it shrinks down after slicing and sewing together again!
