#365DaysOfArtPBQChallenge Week 47, Exercises 323-329

Week 47 of the 365 Days Of Art Challenge!  I hope your wallets are okay after Black Friday and Small Business Saturday!  The link up at the bottom of the post will be open all year so be sure to check back to see what other fellow creatives have made with this week's exercises.  Read more about the challenge and catch up on all the previous weeks!

Without further ado, here are my 7 for this week… the good, bad, and ugly!

#323 Draw a landscape under this sky. I thought about the running paths that go through a park so I started with one going down the middle.  Then I added benches for people to sit on and some extra trees for a hammock to hang between.  I went kite flying with my sister earlier this week (it was SO HARD!), so I decided to draw a man flying a kite.  He is having lots of success flying a kite unlike my reality flying a kite.

#324 Complete a drawing while you are out and about.  Draw something that interests you during your day.  Again with the exercises that make me leave my sewing room!  I decided to draw some doodles and practice some filler designs.  I think this one turned out okay.

#325 Draw a page of moms and their children. No. Just no.  There was another exercise that was similar earlier and I hated it... I think I drew one person and quit.  This exercise got a faceless Dorito woman and a faceless Dorito girl. The person I drew was on the first exercise this week, and I didn't want to draw any more.

#326 Color In.  This was done in watercolor as I've done in the past.  I think this concept of color splotches with details drawn in is spectacular.   I didn't use as many colors as I have in the past because I was trying to get different shades from the same color.  I think the brown worked better than the green.

#327 Observe faces, looking carefully at the position of the eyes, which are usually halfway down.  Draw as many as you can here. This exercise is a bit vague... am I supposed to just draw eyes or draw faces?  I opted for faces and I found that the eyes were not terribly difficult, but drawing the shape of a face was really hard!  Go figure.

#328 Draw some methods of transport. Planes, trains, and automobiles... or rather plane, car, and boxcar turned truck. Yes, the semi was intended as a boxcar of a train, but I couldn't figure out how to draw one so ta da... truck!

#329 Draw the individual items in your favorite outfit.  Jeans, t-shirt, and sandals.  Really basketball shorts instead of jeans, but I could wear this every day!  Super casual and comfortable is definitely my style!

Now that we've all had a good chuckle and/or grimace, I encourage you to join in the fun and expand your creative horizons too!
