Whimsical and Wonky Challenge Part 2 (Friday Foto Fun #64)

This month's Island Batik Challenge is to create a quilt that is Whimsical and Wonky.  This is part 2 of my December challenge. You can read Part 1 here.  The fabrics featured in this post were given to me by Island Batik.

I settled on the last layout shown in Part 1 and used the web piecing method to sew the top together.

I started to use my walking foot to do concentric circles but realized that wasn't working for me today.  I unpicked all of it and created a concentric square turned circle for some extra whimsy and wonky-ness!

I had an extra 6 blocks left over, so I added them to the backing for fun!  I think blocks on the backs of quilts are so much fun!

This was a fun quilt to make and I really do like intentionally wonky!

Next month is the last month of this year's Island Batik Ambassadors and we are doing a blog hop all month long!

If you're interested in what the other Island Batik Ambassadors are making, you can check out their blogs. There are 45 ambassadors this year! Be sure to follow Island Batik on Facebook and Instagram to see the projects we all make too!

Don't forget to join in on the Hidden Stars SAL starting January 8th!  Read about that here.

Your turn! What did you accomplish this week?  A block? A quilt top?  Link up below!
