Sew Solid Remix!
Today the Fat Quarter Shop is doing a remix on their Sew Solid collections!
I sewed up this amazingly cute Panda from the FREE pattern Pandamonium! I saw this pattern in the wild from other mini swaps but I had no idea it was free! I absolutely recommend having a design board to lay out the pieces. There are a lot! Thankfully my cutting station is super close to my machine so I didn't lose any of them.
I also recommend labeling the sizes that you cut. The tiny pieces all end up looking the same so having labels really help! I use Alphabitties to label my pieces although they are not shown in the photo.
With a quilt with so many pieces, definitely make sure that your 1/4" seam is good! For beginners, I find that the Sewing Edge helped me keep an accurate 1/4" all the time!

It’s precious! I saved that pattern to one of my favorite places, somewhere, but have yet to make it. After seeing this little beauty, I don’t know what I’m waiting for!
That is so cute. So many pieces but it looks so cute. Nice job.
I love this, and yes, the design board is good for this. I am bring two to my other sewing studio this week so I can have them when I start my Awesome Ocean blocks – thanks for the reminder. That panda is just so adorable.
Sew cute! Who doesn’t love a panda?! And free? Yes!!! Great job, Sherry!
This is so cute! Love your bright pink background! I’ve made Pandamonium twice! 🙂 It’s so fun!
