Simply Sweet Quilt Pattern!

We did it!  We made a quilt top in 4.5 hours on Saturday and then I longarmed the quilt Saturday night.  Sunday I put on the binding and took some glamour shots.  The quilt is comprised of 35 - 10" squares and just over 1.75 yards of background.

Disregard the light on the right that is falling off the wall, I noticed it after I took the photo.  It's already fixed now.  Whoops!

This quilt turned out to be 66.5"x76", perfect for snuggling under while on the couch.  It's super beginner-friendly and a great precut stash buster!

I used Grand Canal by Kate Spain for the quilt top because of its large prints that I didn't want to cut up!

It’s darling! Sometimes, a fast pattern is needed!

Simply Sweet Quilt is super fun and a great size. Love the fabric line. I am always looking for fast quilts to add to my library. And not a HST in the quilt!

  4. I love that it is fast and uses less than 2 yards of background. Always annoys me to need tons of background with precuts. The bag is tempting; I’ll see how the week develops!

Fast patterns are like a palette cleanser for me. It’s amazing you did this one so quickly! And it looks beautiful. It would be great pattern to show off some large Kaffe Fassett prints.
