Barn Quilt BOM Month 6!
Can you believe this is the last month of the block of the month? I am going to do a live video (and blog post next month) to show the assembly of the quilt top so this month is going to focus only on the borders.
Here are my Top Tips:
- Lots of SMALL pieces this month compared to previous months. Make sure that you cut accurately! I use the Stripology ruler to help speed up my cutting.
- Per usual, I don't mark my diagonals because I use Clearly Perfect Angles.
- Make sure that the stitch and flip corners are DIFFERENT for the different pieces. They are a mirror image.
- Fun stars to make up the border!

- August: We have started!!! YAY! Time to gather all the supplies and prep work for the quilt along. The newsletter will have coloring sheets for the full quilt and mini quilt options!
- September: Month 1 blocks.
- October: Month 2 blocks and Mini Quilt #1 assembly.
- November: Month 3 blocks.
- December: Month 4 blocks and Mini Quilt #2 assembly.
- January: Month 5 blocks/Mini Quilt #3 assembly.
- February: Month 6 blocks and Quilt Top Assembly. <- WE ARE HERE!!!
- March: Show off your amazing work!
