Longarm Quilting Services!!! (Friday Foto Fun #121)

Happy Friday!  I'm so excited to finally announce that I'm starting to offer edge-to-edge longarming!

I will be quilting on the weekends mainly, so my expedited service will be a maximum turnaround time of 1 week.   However, it'll be faster if I get the quilt later in the week.

Here's the skinny on the service:

  • Flat rate costs for pantograph designs ($0.02/sq in).
  • I offer batting for sale, so you don't need to ship that to me (New Mexico residents will need to pay tax on batting).
  • As I'm building my pantograph library, you can request designs that I don't have free of charge.
  • No thread charges.
  • Shipping costs are extra.

You can read all the details of the service here.

To celebrate the launch of my longarming business, everyone will receive a 15% discount for all quilts submitted before May 31, 2020.

For my Patreon subscribers, I added more rewards!  Patrons will now get different discounts for one quilt per month depending on the subscription level.

I have several batting options available, what is your favorite type of batting?

Good luck. I wish I could afford to send out all my quilts. Piecing is my favourite part of the process. Guess that’s the reason why I have a huge pile of tops that need to be quilted. LOL

  2. Well, this is exciting! Congrats – I hope it goes well for you. I’ll keep it in mind, too!

Sherry…I am so excited that you now offer long arm quilting!!! It may be a while yet before I finish my quilt, but I will be in touch when it is complete. Hope you both are healthy! Love, Jane

I prefer Hobbs Heirloom fusible batting. No mess with spray. Though I still pin to hold it all in place, the spacing is much farther apart. Good luck!

Congrats! Look like you are settling in well in the new place

  8. Good luck with this! My favorite batting has always been quilter’d dream, but I am now thinking of doing a more rigorous exam of others, as I now want more loft with some of the quilting I am doing. However, I do have quilts that have been well loved with it and no migration of the batting so that is a really good thing.
