QAL by the Sea Block 7!

I picked a range of blues to keep with my grunge theme.  It just so happens that a bunch of the blues from my stars are being reused in this block.

Here are my top tips:

Use pattern weights!  I traced the template after I adhered the fusible to the back of fabric.  The pattern weights definitely helped the template not shift while tracing!  I also rough cut the fabric instead of cutting exactly to size. The pattern weights that I used are from Foxglove and Field.  I think they are so pretty and useful!

Use matching thread to top stitch the applique.  I used a straight stitch in 3 different Aurifil colors.  Ideally I would have had 5 different colors, but I only had 3 that matched so there are a few that are lighter/darker than the fabric.

Ta Da!  All finished!
