Simply Sparkles Quilt Pattern!

Introducing Simply Sparkles! This quilt top was made 100% on stream. I started off the stream thinking that this pattern was one of the more work-intensive patterns and yet still managed to finish the top in about 4.5 hours!

I should have taken the extra time to mark the diagonals for my hourglass and half square triangles instead of eyeballing it with the clearly perfect angles. Typically I don't need to mark the diagonals but as the squares get too large for my machine bed, marking the lines is the most accurate way to make the units.

I also boo boo-ed on cutting and I completely miscut one of the teal fat quarters and had to substitute it with a different V&Co teal! It looks like it matches regardless.

Quilt Facts:

Pattern: Simply Sparkles by me! (Pattern releasing on April 16 for Patreon subs and May 14 for the public)
Fabric: 4 Teal and 4 Navy Fat Quarters by V&Co, a yard of white for the background, and just over a yard of gray for accent
Thread: 2024 Aurifil 50wt for piecing and binding, 510 So Fine 50wt for longarming
Batting: Warm and Plush by Warm Co
Finished Size: 60"x60"
Quilting design: Diagonal Plaid, quilted by me! I can quilt your quilts, too!
