Aurifil Artisan 2021! (Friday Foto Fun #180)
I'm like a month late in announcing this on the blog, but I'm an Aurifil Artisan again this year! I'm looking forward to all of the different challenges we'll have this year as artisans. I really love the versatility of the thread as well as all the colors! I am now incorporating so much more colored thread in my sewing due to bag making and I need more colors!
Be sure to check out the Aurifil blog to read introductions on all the artisans this year. I'm so excited to be included in this awesome group of makers!
In the 2020 Aurifil Artisan program, I did a lot of bag-making for my projects in addition to learning and LOVING forty3 for the longarm (and bag-making). I can't wait to see what is in store for the 2021 program! I'm looking forward to testing the heavier weight threads for topstitching on my bags.
On that note, tomorrow is the first Saturday of the month which means that I will be sewing a bag for Bag Day on my Twitch stream! I'll be starting at 8am Mountain time and sewing a Bonnie Bucket Bag by Swoon Patterns! Come hang out, chat, and sew!
What are your sewing plans this weekend?

I’m in the middle of a bunch of projects, so no finishes this week. So question – is the forty3 thread for longarms only, or do you use with your domestic machines?
Congrats! Love those orange threads. Looking forward to seeing what you create this year.
Congrats to you on being an ambassador again! Finished up a little project before traveling and am now catching up to blogs!
