New Streaming Set up! (Friday Foto Fun #206)
Now that we are situated in the temporary long-stay Airbnb, I've got a brand new streaming set up for Twitch! It's compact and will be a little hard to maneuver but I'm going to make it work until our new home is complete! Here's when you can come hang out, chat, and sew with me this month!
My new Work From Home Desk is doing double duty as my work desk, my small cutting table, and the table my sewing machine is going to be sitting on.
The big monitor in the back will totally help me read chat while streaming too! Now you are probably wondering what am I going to do about ironing?! Ironing is so critical to sewing for accurate piecing and flat blocks. I made a portable pressing board with a TV Tray and I'll have that to my left while sitting down!
Here's a preview of the setup with the cutting mat instead of the sewing machine.
Don't mind the mess of items in the lower left, that's actually all the stuff on my ironing TV tray. The cutting mat is only 17"x24" but it should be good enough for my small sewing setup!
See you tomorrow on Twitch! I still plan on keeping the same time at least for now at 9am Central! I'll be making the Cargo Duffle by Noodlehead. You can get the pattern free here. Come hang out, chat, and sew!
What are your sewing plans this weekend?

Glad you are getting settled in your temporary digs. Looks like you have your little sewing spot all set up and ready. I use a 18″ x 24″ pressing table made by my brother. The top sits on the table, so I can remove it and use the table for other things if I like. It works great in my little space.
Looks great, although a little cramped but you can do it! I have an 18 x 24 mat in both places, and often wish for a 36″ but I am so used to it. Good luck with the temp digs and hope all goes well and fast with the build!
