Transparent Stars Quilt Pattern!
Today's the day I'm sharing my 4th Signature collection with Island Batik, Citified! This collection arrived rather late due to supply chain issues, so the quilt tops were created after the catalog went to print! I was also in the middle of prepping for the move when the fabric finally showed up so I was only able to completely finish 1 of the 4 quilts before leaving Albuquerque.
I put together the other 3 quilt tops while living in Minnesota and will finish off the quilts this summer once I get my longarm back. First up is one of my favorite quilts that I designed for this collection, Transparent Stars. I wanted to create a quilt that played on the fact that this collection has 4 colors and 4 different shades in each color (in addition to 4 low-volume prints). Using the different gradients of the same color, the transparency of the stars really shines.
The quilt finishes at 72"x84" and I would say it's an adventurous beginner level. I was planning on making this quilt a Block of the Month, but there was not a good way to split the construction of this quilt on a monthly basis. I will be hosting a sew-along for this quilt later this fall after we finish the Wave Pool BOM Quilt Along!

Oh my! This quilt is great! I’m sure the late shipments of fabric was frustrating for a LOT of people – including the IB crew … but how much more for you, in the middle of a move! Anyhow – this quilt turned out very nice!
