Starlight Block of the Month & Quilt Along

Happy November! I'm super excited to announce a brand new Block of the Month program for 2023! This BOM program starts in January and will run throughout 2023.

There are 12 blocks in the quilt and each block will be released on the 1st of each month. The setting instructions will be released on January 1, 2024.

Since this block is a lot of Foundation Paper Piecing, I will be making each block LIVE on Twitch on the 2nd Saturday of the month. Print off your templates and sew the blocks with me! I personally like to have double-sided tape, an add-a-quarter ruler, and paper scissors for FPP.

There are several ways you can join in the Quilt Along or just get the pattern. Each block will be released for ALL Patreon subscribers and will be included as part of everyone's subscription (yay for more benefits!). Like the other Patreon rewards, you must be a member during the month that the block is released to get the block as part of your subscription because at the end of the month it'll turn into a discount code to get the block on Payhip. If you decide Patreon is not for you, you can still get the blocks for $2 each, or the full pattern for $20. (12 blocks, bought individually would be $24). Patreon support at $1/month means you'll get the pattern for $13, it's a steal! (Please note: You will get charged the day you join Patreon and the 1st of each month that you remain a patron)

For those that want the full pattern and don't want to subscribe via Patreon, you can purchase the full pattern here. Each month, you'll get an email with an updated download link to access the new files for the pattern. If you purchase the full pattern today, you will get a file that is a preorder file. Block files will be released on the 1st of each month, not before.

The quilt fabric requirements are simple, you'll need at least 12 different fabrics (think big block backgrounds) and each one will need to be 1/2yd to 1yd. Personally, I will be ensuring that I have enough for the background of each block but then play with scraps/colors for all of the blocks. I will not be following the solids exactly. You will also need about 2.5 yards of white to complete the top. Binding and Backing are extra. For those who like scrappy quilts, you can use color families rather than a full yard of one fabric.

The quilt top measures approximately 72"x72".
