Starlight BOM Month 7
I really can't believe this year is already half over and we are on the second half of the Starlight BOM. Here's Month 7 that we made this past Saturday on stream!
Each block takes about 2-3 hours to make from start to finish and this particular block took just about 2 hours to complete. The real-time video for Month 7 will be on Twitch until July 22 so there is still time to get Month 7's pattern and sew along with me. I go through each step of how I foundation paper piece and sew the block together! If you miss out, don't worry because I'll be live every 2nd Saturday of the month for the rest of the year sewing that month's block. The best part about FPP is that it's a technique and it's the same technique used on the block regardless of what the block looks like!
What are your thoughts on FPP? Love it? Hate it?

I used to hate it, never could get it to work out right. Since following Brenda of Conquering Mount Scrapmore on YouTube, and learning how she does it, I’m coming around to doing the straight line things, not the faces and animals and that sort, never happen, but things like flying geese variations, diamonds, and simple things, I’ve started doing a little and even with mistakes, they turn out okay. It won’t ever be something I do a lot or depend on for my designing, but I’m okay with it now.
