We were at Disney this past weekend and my sewing talent turned into some serious Pixie Dust! We were rope-dropping Hollywood Studios this past Saturday, meaning we would be at the park super early as resort guests and try to be very close to the first people in line to enter the parks. To our surprise, we got picked as the Family of the Day...
Happy Friday! I’m sharing our Month 1 block of the Summer Delight BOM! Month 1 is the large block in the very center of the quilt and it’s a pretty clever block to construct!
All good things must come to an end. Today is the last day of the blog tour! You still have time to enter into my giveaway here on the kickoff post. I wanted to give a quick roundup of all the amazing projects from my quilty friends. All the photos are from the quilter’s blog. Click on their name to read all about their projects!
Last weekend, I decided to sew up another Passion Flower Tote by Blue Calla Patterns that I’d cut out over the last few weeks. I had all the pieces cut out and interfaced for both an R2D2 inspired bag and a BB8 inspired bag. I was not able to finish both bags, but I did get close and subsequently finished off stream the R2D2 inspired...
Since the H2O 2Go Sling by Linds Handmade (with some hacks) was such a great bag for our last Disney trip, I decided to make 2 more for my nephews for when they are going with us in a few weeks! Technically, this was a revisit of a pattern for March Bag Day that I haven’t shared yet. Anyway, it was so fun picking out...
I am so excited to kick off this awesome blog tour of my fifth signature line, Bits and Pieces from Island Batik! So what is a signature line? A signature line is designed by in-house Island Batik Designer Kathy Engle, but I get to design the corresponding patterns that are in the catalog! I’ve gathered some really awesome quilters and designers to join me on...
Introducing Simply Found! This quilt top minus the borders was made in about 3.5 hours this past Saturday! The quilt used 9 fat quarters and about 2.25 yards of background. This is a nod back to the Simply Hidden quilt pattern a few months ago, but a small change with the center of the blocks makes all the difference!
We did it! We made it through another week!!! Tomorrow, I’m sewing March’s quilt in a day, Simply Found. Be sure to follow me on Twitch to get notifications when I go live! Hope to sew with you tomorrow at 9am Central Time! We just had Daylight Savings Time in the US so check your time difference if you live outside the US! Or just...
