Last weekend, I decided to do an extra bag day on stream and I started a Passion Flower Tote by Blue Calla Patterns. I didn’t finish the entire bag on stream since the bag took about 6-7 hours to complete. I absolutely LOVE how this bag turned out.
There is always something super special about seeing one of my patterns in the wild (also known as in random quilt shops around the country). Normally I get notified from someone tagging me on social media or quilty friends emailing me a photo etc. This time Stars Around was spotted!
Happy Friday!!! Tomorrow, we kick off Season 4 of the Simply Quilt series with Simply Linked. I am going to try to make this quilt with the least number of seams! Wish me luck! Be sure to follow me on Twitch to get notifications when I go live! Hope to sew with you tomorrow at 9am Central Time! Or just come hang out and say...
I was looking through my past recaps and realized I hadn’t done one since before the pandemic. Crazy how time flies. I love the Simply Series because it showcases the fun fast quilts from the year all together!
Introducing Simply Progressing! This quilt top was made in just under 4 hours this past Saturday! This is the last Simply Quilt of the year and I love how it turned out. The quilt used 8 fat quarters and about 2 yards of background.
Happy Friday!!! Tomorrow, we wrap up Season 3 of the Simply Quilt series with Simply Progressing. I can’t believe this is the thirty-sixth quilt! So amazing! I’ve definitely sewn A LOT of my stash. Be sure to follow me on Twitch to get notifications when I go live! Hope to sew with you tomorrow at 9am Central Time! Or just come hang out and say...
Happy Friday!!! I have been using my modified Santorini Tote Bag that I made this past weekend. I wasn’t able to incorporate all of the modifications that I wanted to include, but I’m still really pleased with the outcome. You can read about my potential modifications here.
Remember way back in January of 2020… before the pandemic really started and the world shifted? I made my very first bag on stream, the Santorini Tote Bag by Sew Hungry Hippie. You can read about that here. I have used the smaller version of the two totes for almost 3 years as a laptop bag.
