How well do you know your machine? (Friday Foto Fun #171)

I love my Juki Straight Stitch machine.  I purchased it over 3 years ago at QuiltCon 2018 in Pasadena.  I figured I know my machine pretty well.  I’ve made a lot of quilts and started to make bags with my machine.  This photo was taken at MSA 2018 after I completed my train case.

North Stars Polar Bear Block

I understand the appeal of a block of the month program especially if the blocks are super complicated!  This past Saturday I decided to make my second block in the North Stars Quilt by Elizabeth Hartman!

Simply Sparkles Quilt Pattern!

Introducing Simply Sparkles! This quilt top was made 100% on stream.  I started off the stream thinking that this pattern was one of the more work-intensive patterns and yet still managed to finish the top in about 4.5 hours!

March Quilt in a Day is TOMORROW! (Friday Foto Fun #169)

Tomorrow I’ll be streaming the third 2021 Quilt in a Day with Simply Sparkles!  This quilt is layer cake AND fat quarter friendly.  I plan on using fat quarters for this quilt rather than a layer cake.  Don’t worry about precutting or prepping anything as I’ll be doing all of that in real-time on stream!  Be sure to have a bit over a yard of...

Custom Scrub Cap

I got some custom 626 Stitch fabric a few months ago and my cousin LOVES Stitch. I messaged her and asked if she wanted a bag or something made from the fabric, but she doesn’t use purses very often and suggested that I make her a scrub cap.  She’s a nurse and would love to have a Stitch scrub cap!

Decovil Light, To use or not to use? (Friday Foto Fun #168)

After I completed the Rudeneja Handbag this past weekend, I wanted to know exactly what would have happened if I used the Decovil Light interfacing on the exterior as the pattern suggested.  Read about my Rudeneja experience here.  I was a little disappointed with how slouchy the bag turned out to be, but that was my own fault for skipping the Decovil Light. I decided...

Rudeneja Handbag!

I think I fell in love this weekend with the Rudenja Handbag pattern.  I made this bag on Saturday on my Twitch channel from start to finish!  Overall it took me just under 6 hours to complete.  This is one of my favorite bag finishes of all time.  Isn’t it just stunning?

Harlequin Pouch (Friday Foto Fun #167)

I belong to a ton of Facebook groups and I started seeing this super cute little pouch on a few of the custom fabric groups.  I knew I had to get the pattern and to my surprise, it’s free via the Crafted by Leanne group.
