200! (Friday Foto Fun #43)

First Friday in August!  I can't believe this is my 200th blog post!  It seems like I hit 100 not too long ago.  I'm really excited to share this quilt with you!

Ta Da!  Isn't it beautiful?!

I can't actually show you the full quilt until December, but I wanted to share a photo of the back!  This quilt got shipped off across the pond for photography and publication!  I'm pretty excited for you guys to see it, and then I can share the story behind this quilt afterwards.

In other news, I found a 1/2" bias tape maker tip for my machine!  These things are rare and way too expensive, but it allows me to make 1/2" weaving strips faster than the manual bias tape makers.  Watch out for 1/2" weaving, coming soon!

I am still getting caught up on my beehive blocks, but I was able to finish this Tic Tac Toe block.  I love the secondary design this creates!  I'll need to make a larger one of these for myself one day.

The last thing to share this week... Island Batik is having a blog hop with all of their ambassadors starting Monday, August 6!  The Great Outdoors Blog Hop will feature the main giveaway from Island Batik and each of the ambassadors will be having their own little giveaway on each of their posts.  My day is next Wednesday, August 8 and I will have links to all of the other ambassador's pages and blog hop posts. I can't wait to share my project!

I need to get back to putting together weekly goals now that my life has calmed down from the move, but I don't have a plan yet for this next week except to attend the Kansas City Modern Quilt Guild meeting next Thursday.  I'm really excited to be able to join a guild since I no longer travel so much for work!  It's going to be so much fun!
