Fall Into A QAL Block 7!
Today's the day Block 7 is released! What is fall without pumpkins?! Bobbi from Snowy Days Quilting designed this Pumpkin Patch block! I love that you can make the block with 5 of the same pumpkins like I did or make all the pumpkins look different!
My block is made of all Moda Grunge fabrics. I ended up cutting all the pieces for the pumpkin at once but made one pumpkin before chaining the rest.
It was a good thing I made one pumpkin, I realized I picked up the wrong size corner square when I started making the rest of the pumpkins! Be sure to keep track of each size and the correct corner to add the square.
A quick tip about stitch and flip corners, make sure to sew on the line a hair towards the corner that you cut off. You can check your sewing by opening the corner first to make sure it isn't too small before trimming the corner off.
I can't believe we are on the back half of the quilt along! 7 blocks down, 5 more to go!
