TGIFF (Friday Foto Fun #44)!

This week's (early) edition of Friday Foto Fun is extra special since I'm hosting Thank Goodness It's Finished Friday!!!  It's already Friday in some parts of the world, lucky them!  I can't wait to see everyone's finishes this week!

I have a very special quilt today to share that I FINALLY finished!  Remember all the way back in January when I started making a large bed quilt from my Frame It Up pattern?  I finished it!

This is the first quilt that I have needed my husband to help me hold off of our 2nd story deck in the new house for me to get a full shot of the quilt!  The quilt finished at 72"x90" and is quilted with diagonal plaid by Rhonda Walker of Olie and Evie.  You can pick up a pattern of this quilt in my shop!

Thanks Nick!  Wave hi to my husband!  🙂

The quilt uses the entire collection of Longitude fabrics by Kate Spain.

I also remembered to put one of my woven labels on this quilt!

For those new to my blog, I end my Friday posts with what I'm working on this next week to keep my goals up front!

Available time for quilting this next week:
Saturday and Sunday; sadly my new job makes me super tired during the week!

Projects I want to work on:
Secret Sewing for Fall Into A QAL and Monthly Color Challenge

Goals for the Projects:
Make a few more blocks of each sew along.

It's actually been a few weeks since I've done goals and I'm finding this difficult.  No wonder I feel like I haven't gotten much accomplished these last couple weeks.

Your turn! What did you accomplish this week?  A block? A quilt top?  Link up below!

A few reminders:

  • When you link up a post, please try to support the others folks in the linky party!  Let's spread the motivation and support to help everyone make progress in their own time.
  • Your post does not need to be something quilty you accomplished, but definitely encouraged.  Sometimes life just gets in the way, but feel free to share something you are proud of this week.
  • In your blog post, please include a link back to my blog or grab the Friday Foto Fun Button and put it on your sidebar.  This way others who visit your blog can also join in on the fun!

I love your quilt and the way the colors blend from one area to another. Isn’t having the 2nd story deck great!!! I get my son and/or hubby to help when I have a big quilt to photograph, so much easier. Hi Nick!!!

I love this quilt. The pattern is awesome. If I wasn’t so far behind in WIPs, I’d love to make this….someday…someday.

  9. This quilt is a great sample for your pattern! I love the fabrics. It is fun to have more than a glimpse of Nick! Great porch for hanging quilts! ON not windy days I would put a few out on the railings just to admire their loveliness in a new setting.
