Beat the Heat Blog Hop + Giveaway!

Today kicks off Week 1 of the blog hop and my day to share my project with my "SURPRISE" fabrics from our first ambassador box that we received in January!  You can check out my unboxing video here.

My surprise fabric line is Blueberry Patch!  I really love this fabric line and all the variations of blue.  I even had a quilt in the catalog using this line, Hidden Stars!   I decided to recreate my Square Stones Pattern in Blueberry Patch since the pattern can utilize each print!

I love the different blues contrasting with the Island Batik White!  One of the things I love about working with Island Batik fabric is just how flat I can get my blocks!  Pressing seams is a breeze!
