Santorini Tote Live Stream Tomorrow! (Friday Foto Fun #108)
Join me tomorrow on my Twitch channel and sew along as I make a Santorini Tote! (or 2!) I purchased the pattern from Natalie at Modern Stitching Affair in 2019! I am so jazzed about streaming bag making this year because there are so many bag patterns that I haven't made yet that I can't wait to make and try out! I went through my stash and picked out a few contenders for the exterior fabric!
Option 1: This is a Mexican oilcloth that I bought in Austin last year at a friend's wedding. This would make such a fun waterproof tote!
Option 2: Breaking out fabric from my Kate Spain obsession! This is one of the main prints of her Daydream collection. This is one of my favorite collections of hers and I just happen to have some yardage of the main focal prints!
Option 3: More neutral happy suns from Maureen Cracknell. I got this fabric from Bay Quilts last year on a trip to the Bay Area.
Which one do you think I should make? Depending on how long the tote takes to make, I'll be making more than 1!
Don't forget you can pick up the pattern here! Come sew with me!

If I have to choose one (you should make all three :-D) I’d choose the Kate Spain. I like the design and colors of that piece!
I’d start with option 2. Would hide any boo-boos. Then make the other two.
Good luck with the bag. It looks like a great pattern.
