Lucky Stars QAL Month 3!

Month 3 of the Lucky Stars Quilt Along! This quilt along lasts until September and each month's post will be the first Tuesday of each month! I can't wait to see your take on this skill-building pattern! If you don't have a copy of the pattern yet, you can grab a copy from my Etsy shop or Payhip!

This month we are making a total of 8 blocks, 3 of the 12.5" blocks and 5 of the 6.5" blocks using 2 different fabrics and the background.

There are 2 areas of mastery for making these blocks.

Accurate Stitch and Flip Corners
- If this is slightly off, trim your pieces to the size to get more accurate results!
Half Square Triangles.
- I use Clearly Perfect Angles on the bed of my sewing machine to avoid drawing diagonals, but if you do not have this, make sure you are drawing your diagonals!
- I use Clearly Slotted Trimmers to trim my HSTs before pressing them open. However, you can use a block-loc ruler or a normal square ruler that is larger than your HST.
