Today, we are on Month 3 of the Wave Pool Block of the Month! As a reminder, we will be posting tips and tricks the second Friday of each month and going LIVE on YouTube the next day (Saturday) at 1:30pm Central for the block demo and to answer any questions. Be sure to be following my YouTube channel to follow along!
If you haven't gotten the pattern yet, you can pick it up from my Etsy or Payhip shop. It's not too late to order the kit and sew along. Month 3 has quite a few blocks, but they are all fun to make!
We are using 3 different fabrics this month with some background.
Tips and Tricks:
- Always double-check your stitch and flip corners to ensure you are not losing sizing while stitching on the diagonals.
- Use your Clearly Perfect Angles and Clearly Slotted Trimmers to make your HSTs super fast and efficient!
- There are a lot of blues in this block, make sure you know which color is which and use your fabric swatch list (page 2 of the pattern)!
